Social Conduit (“App”, “we”, “us”) calculates Instagram posting streaks for accounts you own or manage. We keep data collection minimal and transparent.

1) Data we collect

From Instagram Graph API (after you authorize)

• Instagram user ID, username, profile picture URL

• Media timestamps (publish date/time only)

• Facebook Page linkage (to access your professional IG account)

Generated by us

• Posting dates (derived) and streak stats (current, best, last post)

• Access token (long-lived IG token) + expiry

• Minimal diagnostics (app version/OS, crash/error logs)

• Local notification preference (on/off, scheduled time)

We don’t fetch your media files, captions, messages, contacts, or comment content for this feature.

2) Why we process (legal bases)

• Provide the service (contract): compute/refresh streaks and show them in the App.

• Legitimate interests: security, preventing abuse, debugging, reliability analytics.

• Consent: optional local notifications.

3) How we use data

• Calculate and display streaks; refresh timestamps (typically once daily).

• Generate an on-device share image; it’s your choice to share it.

• Operate, secure, and improve the App.

4) Sharing

We don’t sell your data. We use vetted processors (cloud hosting, database, crash reporting) acting under contract and only on our instructions.c

5) International transfers

If data leaves your country/region, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., SCCs) where required.

6) Retention

• Timestamps/derived streaks: rolling window (about 120–180 days).

• Tokens: until you revoke access or delete your account, or when they expire.

• Logs: typically 30–90 days.
  When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify.

7) Your rights

Depending on your location: access, rectify, delete, port, object/restrict, and withdraw consent (notifications).
Email app-support@nowli.co. You can also revoke our access in Instagram/Facebook → Apps and Websites.

8) Data deletion (Meta requirement)

• In-app: Settings → Delete account & data (removes tokens, timestamps, streaks).

• Email: send “Delete my Social Conduit data” to app-support@nowli.co from your account email.
  We aim to complete deletion within 30 days.

9) Security

HTTPS in transit, restricted tokens, least-privilege access, and monitoring. No method is perfectly secure; we work to protect against unauthorized access and misuse.

10) Children

Not for users under 13 (or the minimum age in your country).

11) Third parties & your responsibilities

Your use of Instagram/Facebook is governed by their terms and policies. We aren’t responsible for outages, policy changes, or acts/omissions of third-party services outside our control.

12) Changes

We may update this policy. We’ll post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also appear in-app.
